Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin on the 26th of June, 1966. She is from an affluent family. The youngest of the children of three. The nunnery she attended was one of the most prestigious where she developed an appreciation in the arts. After a couple of years, she returned to the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. However, in the absence of determination, she decided that she required a rest and would give 10 months to recover. At the same time, she was having a drink with colleagues in a caf an older photographer approached her and inquired about her interest in modeling. The model agreed because she'd be able make use of the cash for pocket cash. It was soon clear modeling to be exciting and lucrative. She was able to travel the world with her commercial work after signing modeling contracts. When she saw her acting talent it was suggested to pursue modeling. The director sent her to London at age 19, in which she was able to win an audition to appear in the brand new James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). It was her passion for acting that has led her to study it as a career. After the first film she acted in, she shot a few TV shows in London as well as in Dublin however her biggest breakthrough came when she was cast as Aryan seductress the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
